We really have the great fortune to work with some really talented people. The
folks that come to play and learn in our lab seem to make magic happen.

The MakerBot Halloween contest results were announced a few days ago. There
were two winners - PaSuTX and Nick Lewis. Thus, we offer two virtual gold stars.
We encourage you to check out their other designs on Thingiverse. As a community,
we continue to grow both stronger and more diverse. Please continue to share your
creativity, time, and talent. With it, we will change the “norm”!!!

Bre, both winners have printed out their stars. My idea was to give gifts to people who are far away. It worked well. Thus Thingiverse has
another purpose (a gift giving site). Cheers!
Paul, I am glad that it worked. With clear PLA, perhaps a gold fabric marker could be added right before that extruder. We’ve had luck with that technique
to make various colors of ABS. OR one could get some gold-leaf foil. Congrats again.
